Horses

2026 is the year of the “fire horse". A year for becoming. Going into this year, the artist began reconnecting with her younger self and embracing the versions of her that were never fulfilled. Embracing the evolution of herself.

Growing up, she has identified with horses, believing in their running, free, nature; always striving to be wild in a world priding itself on domesticity and compliance.

The horse, to her, is symbolic of her journey through many of her passions. Passions sometimes ending in breakage and isolation, though ultimately, rerouting themselves in wholeness and community once choosing to begin again.
